About Qatar PrayerTime
Last updated:
Qatar PrayerTime is a prayer-time website for people living in, working in, or visiting Qatar. It brings daily schedules, city information and prayer tools together so you can check a time and decide what to do next.
Our Purpose
The site focuses on the practical questions that come up during the day: when a prayer begins, when Fajr ends, where a mosque is located, and how a schedule changes over the month. City pages cover locations including Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Lusail and Al Khor.
The mosque directory adds location and arrival-planning information. It does not replace a mosque's own announcements about iqamah or Friday prayer.
What We Offer
- Daily prayer times — Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha, with Sunrise shown separately.
- City prayer pages — local schedules, starting with Doha and other Qatar cities.
- Mosque directory — locations, map links and congregation-planning references.
- Qibla direction — a Doha reference, city presets and location-based direction tools.
- Monthly timetable — compare prayer times across dates.
- Tahajjud tools — calculate night-prayer windows using Maghrib and Fajr.
- Ramadan tools — prayer, Suhoor and Iftar references.
How Prayer Times Are Provided
Qatar prayer schedules use Aladhan API with the Islamic Society of North America calculation method (method 2) and Standard/Shafi Asr setting (school 0). Times are requested for a city and date and displayed in the Asia/Qatar timezone.
These are calculated prayer starts. The time a mosque holds its congregation, iqamah or Jumu'ah may differ. When valid timing data is unavailable, the site displays an unavailable state instead of substituting a fixed schedule.
Why Qatar-Focused
A single national time is not always the best reference for a local journey. City pages keep the selected location visible, while mosque maps help with arrival planning. English and Arabic pages make the same tools accessible to readers using either language.
Some tools, including Qibla and the Tahajjud calculator, also support locations outside Qatar. Their selected location should be checked before using the result.
Accuracy and Corrections
Calculation methods, geographic inputs and local announcements can produce different times. Check the date and city on the page, and confirm mosque-specific schedules directly with the mosque.
If you find an incorrect location, translation or timing reference, send the page URL, relevant city or mosque, and the information you believe needs correcting. A source or dated mosque notice can help identify the issue.
